Policap-Proposal, Development and Evaluation of a Policy. Service and Capabilities for CORBA Security
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper presents Policap a Policy Service for distributed applications that use CORBA security model. Policap was proposed for insertion in the JaCoWeb Project context, which is developing an authorization scheme for largescale networks. This scheme is being developed in order to deal with management of security policies in such networks, simplifying authorization policy implementation. The Policap policy service fills the existing gap in the use of security policies for distributed object programming. The paper further presents the implementation results obtained and an evaluation of these results based on Common Criteria, ISO standard 15408.

متن کاملHealth Services Research Spending and Healthcare System Impact; Comment on “Public Spending on Health Service and Policy Research in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States: A Modest Proposal”
The challenges associated with translating health services and policy research (HSPR) evidence into practice are many and long-standing. Indeed, those challenges have themselves spawned new areas of research, including knowledge translation and implementation science. These sub-disciplines have increased our understanding of the critical success factors associated with the uptake of research ev...
متن کاملMaking Research Matter; Comment on “Public Spending on Health Service and Policy Research in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States: A Modest Proposal”
We offer a UK-based commentary on the recent “Perspective” published in IJHPM by Thakkar and Sullivan. We are sympathetic to the authors’ call for increased funding for health service and policy research (HSPR). However, we point out that increasing that investment – in any of the three countries they compare: Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom– will ipso facto not necessarily lea...

A hierarchical regressions software analyzes data from a national sample of 2134 internet users. In this paper, internet literacy i...
متن کاملA Large-scale System Authorization Scheme Proposal Integrating Java, CORBA and Web Security Models and a Discretionary Prototype
This paper presents an authorization scheme for large-scale networks that involves programming models and tools represented by Web, Java and CORBA. The authorization scheme is based on structures and concepts introduced in Web, Java and CORBA for security. A discretionary prototype is presented here, where the solutions adopted involving a concrete scheme are discussed. This scheme was develope...
